Layout george

Rex Hackleberg made some great storyboard sketches John K posted on his blog. I tryed to layout them.

They look to skewed, I really noticed that when I mirrord them. Im gonna do some better versions soon.

I've never thought of holding a pencil that way. Bob Camp once discussed the "pencil holding theory." on his blog. Here's the excerpt and link from and to the post:

"Here is the pencil holding theory. If you draw like you write then you are using the dozens of small muscles in your hand which are pushing and pulling on the pencil while you try to draw a circle or shape. Experiment with different ways to hold your pencil. Think of it as a wand."

When I think about it, I really do press hard on a pencil when drawing, especially on details (probably one of the reasons I have a big corn on my middle finger). It's time I loosen up my grip, and it's time I update my blog, too. :)
