poses

Oops I drew one hand too big... I need to practice on hands. I started with drawing first with a blue pencil, that works really fine.

Hey Mitch
Your previous post got me thinking

Some stages of drawings benefit from criticism, and some don't.
Loose sketches and doodles, primary character designs and initial story ideas shouldn't be judged the same way as professional finalized drawings and practice drawings, That would be too early to apply judgment, Just like kids shouldn't be judged when they're still young.

David Lynch made a great definition: That ideas are like fish, and if you wanna get the really good ones, you have to dive deep. If we'd be critical of our ideas before they get a chance to develop, we'd stay in shallow waters. It took me a while to realize this...

You're discovering how much work and sophistication goes into cartoons so it may be tough to apply at first.

Thanks Amir, I never looked at it that way.

I will make another blog to experiment and keep this blog to develop and practice my principles.
