falling hare
Round 2.5Not really a great one but I did this one faster than the previous, I have some problem's with keeping everything together (look at the head and arm with carrot in comparison with the rest). But I am trying to do this one as often as I can.
Does someone have any kind of feedback? I'm man enough to take it!
Round 2:
"Study and write down what you did wrong"
Round 2:
Hmm when I started with the book and the hand on the book, I noticed that I did something wrong.. You can see it on the comapirison. When I compared it in PS I noticed more mistakes I made, too bad the head is too wide....
My goal is to make one that is a bit like the original and use that to make a ink.
Round 1:
I was impressed by Amir his practise blog
So I tried to do the falling hare myself.
I started with this quick (and sloppy) sketch. I wanted to get familiar with the construction and pose.
It is really not much, but I want to make a post where I can show my steps on how I study.
Next on a cleaner and better version.
Only two/three months and I will have more time to draw... Counting down.

Inky ink
What do you think of it? Give some critique if you have, I am man enough ;)
I think I need to work on the crossing points of the lines (points etc.)
Update:
I just finished this one under, when I was half way I had read Brian's comment and tried to be more playfull with the lines and give her more weight.
Ink
This time I did one of John K. I really like the sketch!
It really helpt that the original drawing have a high resolution.
I'm not totally satisfied, I could have done the mouth better and could tried to make a good hand. But I think I can better start on a new one. Or do you think that you need to improve a study until it is (sort of) perfect?

lines
I don't think the lines are nice, the curves aren't as smooth as in the original. What do you see?
I did this one below before the one above to practise. It is really not a good one but I wanted to show that I do make some practise before.
I am now doing a Ink of this one, I'm trying to upload that one tomorrow.
Update: I did an Ink, but it didn't really worked out well... (the tail for example) I only have this original at a low quality digital. I'm going to practise inking on a other one.
